US GSA Selects EcoDomus BIM CDE

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS) has selected EcoDomus software as its new BIM Common Data Environment (or Central Facility Repository) information system for the whole organization.

One of the largest landlords in the world, GSA PBS owns or leases 8,681 assets, maintains an inventory of more than 370 million square feet of workspace for 1.1 million federal employees, and preserves more than 500 historic properties.

GSA’s objectives for the new solution include supporting openBIM practices, increasing quality of BIMs, enabling lifecycle data utilization across all departments, and promoting collaboration to facilitate more effective delivery practices that will improve project and program outcomes. EcoDomus' selection was based on a combination of functionality, extensibility, unmatched industry experience and sophisticated security options.
