Case Study - Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House (SOH) was the first facility owner in the world to publish a research paper about the benefits of BIM for FM in 2007, so it was a match made in heaven when EcoDomus, the first BIM-FM / Digital Twin provider in the world, won the tender in 2015.

EcoDomus integrated the BIMs with the CMMS and several other internal real estate-related databases.

EcoDomus Viewer acts as the project management tool and main BIM interface for the Opera House.

The platform utilizes issues management to highlight and allocate tasks and mobile devices for digital inspection forms. The viewer and database enable clear understanding of asset location, connected systems and linked documentation, including drawings, schematics, specifications and O&M manuals.
